After making several hundred of the Little MO and Hitty dolls, I needed to try a few new little characters. These little Nombies, my own creation, were some of my favorites to make. They are tiny, friendly little critters from the moon who visit earth from time to time. They were a lot of fun to make, with their exaggerated features and cute little faces. They stand about 2-1/2 to 3 inches tall.
Each doll was made by me, entirely by hand one at a time, using no molds. Hand sculpted of polymer clay, including their faces. I use no paint except for a light blush for their cheeks, joints and tummies. They are jointed at the hips and shoulders with a strong elastic cord. And they wear no clothes, so there are no snaps to sew on!
