The Fii Sprites came about as I was writing one of the Little MO Tales. Since I made these up as I went, I was never quite sure how they were going to end. And strangely enough, I needed something to hatch from some large unusual pods - so the Fii Sprites were born! They are about 4-1/2 inches tall not counting their wings.
Each doll was made by me, entirely by hand one at a time, using no molds. Hand sculpted of polymer clay, including their faces and hair. Their little antenna are made of plastic coated colored craft wire. I use no paint except for a light blush for their cheeks. They are jointed at the hips and shoulders with a strong elastic cord. I designed their wings on the computer and printed them on clear acrylic sheets. And they wear almost no clothes so dressing them was easy!
